Steel Cut Oatmeal Cookies

Mix
  1/2 c unsalted butter
  1/4 c shortening (aka butter)
  1/2 c brown sugar
  1/4 c sugar
  1 tsp vanilla
  1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  1/8 tsp nutmeg
  1 dash salt
  1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  1 egg

Mix and add:
  1/2 tsp baking soda
  3/4 c flour
  1 1/2 c steel cut oats

Add
  1 c chopped pecans

Bake at 350F for 13-15 min
